Sumimura Yoshimori – was a normal student in junior high school at the age of 14  or so. When it comes down to it , He is the heir to the family with Yumikura Tokine. Tokine is older than him, and she is his childhood friend as well as his rival Kekkaishi. He happens to have a little crash on Tokine through out the series.

There`s a totally of 52 episodes on this Anime/Manga. Adult Swim has been Airing them for the U.S so far and they have plans on finishing the full Anime/Manga all together and everything.In the Manga there are a total of 32 Volumes as well.

Also Kekkaishi received the 2007 Shogakukan Manga Award for Shonen Manga.The manga version of Kekkaishi is written and drawn by Yellow Tanabe.
